Matt Dragovits

Medical Producer/Director/Multimedia Professional

Thank you for taking the time to swing by and check out my body of work.  I also highly encourage you to visit my LinkedIn Profile to hear what other professionals in our industry have to say about me. I’ve always felt that the endorsement of my peers carries much more weight than presenting the case myself.

This page is to simply give you more information about the programming I’ve worked on over the course of my 20 years in Video Production. Enjoy your visit, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have about contracting me for your next project.

medical education & Patient education programming

I have organized, directed, and edited over 200 multi-camera panel discussions for the various "Peer Exchange" series. (both domestic and International)
In addition, I created the 3d Virtual sets for these programs.

I have also interviewed scores of medical professionals in one-on-one settings and I have also directed multiple webcasts utilizing live switching. The majority of these programs were part of the OncLive, AJMC, Cure Connections, Contagion, and MDMag series.

In addition to these panel discussions, I have also produced national and regional patient education programs including long-form videos on Arthritis, Crohn's Disease, Cardiac Care, and Pediatric Tracheostomy Care.

Medical Websites / iPubs

I was responsible for directing the shoots, animating the graphics, and editing the HD footage for all of the video assets related to these sites. I also lead the web team for the design and programming. These are just a few examples of medical sites I've produced. Additional examples available upon request.

Military Videos "Military Snapshots" series

Prior the the aforementioned medical programming, I was the Executive Producer of the "Military SnapShots" video series that aired on The Pentagon Channel and the Armed Forces Network. I wrote, directed, and edited each of the programs for the series. Here are photos from a few of the shoots!

Sample programming included, "The Tactical Internet", "HH60L Medical Blackhawk", "Virtual Firearms Training", "The Virtual Convoy", and more...

The early years...

I started my career as a Producer of the "Healthy Solutions" tv series hosted by Mariette Hartley and the ".com" series hosted by Mark Hamill. Both programs were produced by "TV Interactive" in the late 90's. As part of my job responsibilities, I wrote and edited scripts, directed crews, and supervised the edit for programs focusing on Healthcare and Technology. Just a few of the clients I worked with included Procter and Gamble, Novartis, Bayer, IBM, Hertz, Cars.com, and more.

Shortly thereafter, I worked at WJMK where I wrote scripts, directed crews, and created paper-edits for programs focusing on healthcare, technology, architecture, and the environment. These programs were part of the "American Review" series hosted by Morley Safer and distributed to Public Television Stations. A few of the clients included Therakos, Sodexho, Vermuelens Cost Consulting, Environmental Remediation and Financial Services, and more.
